Q: Are you going to continue playing basketball after high school? Where?
A: I’m going to continue playing basketball, but I haven’t decided where. I’ve applied to some places, but I’m waiting until the end of the season to decide.
Q: Will you carry on playing after college?
A: No, I’ll probably stop after college.
Q: Is there anything that you enjoy doing besides basketball?
A: I’m really just focusing on basketball right now. We have a great team, everyone gets along. That’s where pretty much all of my time is.
Q: Why did you start playing basketball? Who influenced you?
A: It’s in the family. My dad coaches and my brother plays. My mom is my number one fan. I think she tried [to play basketball] in high school but we really don’t talk about that.
Q: How long have you been playing the game?
A: Basically forever. The thing with my dad is that he says he basically put a ball in my crib. I pretty much didn’t have a choice.
Q: What’s your favorite board game?
A: Blokest. No one probably knows what that game is, but it’s the best board game ever.

A: My brother [Marcus Gustin] is a freshman.
Q: Does he want to follow in your footsteps and play basketball?
A: He hopes so, but we’ll see. [He has] pretty big shoes to fill.
Q: What’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to you in a game?
A: One of my teammates was bored in study hall so she drew some tattoos on her arm. During the game [later that day] the ref started talking to her and thought that they were real. Everyone was like, “Whoa, you’re covered in tats!”
Q: What do you want to major in during college?
A: I have do idea. It’s funny, because my mom and I were just talking about that, and I have absolutely no clue.
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I have a dog. Her name is Leta.
Q: Do you and your teammates feel very close to one another?
A: Yea, they’re great.
Q: What goes through your mind after you’ve lost a game?
