Q: How many years have you played your sport?
A: I have been playing soccer since I was 5, so around 12 or 13 years. I started playing club soccer when I was 9.
Q: What has been your biggest accomplishment this season?
A: My biggest accomplishment is beating the record for most goals in all four years of varsity.
Q: What do you do outside of team practice to better yourself at your sport?
A: I’ve been playing club soccer for seven years during the fall which keeps me ready for the season.
Q: Is there a coach that has helped you get to where you are in your sport?
A: All of our coaches this year have played a really big role, but specifically Coach [Scott] James and Coach [Katie] Sarvas have helped push me to be where I am.
Q: What advice would you give to the younger athletes on your team?
A: Give each game your all because you never know when it could be your last. Also, enjoy it while it’s here because your high school seasons go by so fast.
Q: What is your favorite pregame meal?
A: I get Panera chicken noodle soup, a baguette and a strawberry smoothie before every single game day.
Q: Do you have a postgame recovery routine?
A: I don’t have anything specific, but the team stretches after games. I also ice whatever’s hurting.
