Juniors Sara Alhawari, Jackson Armstrong and Curie Sarkar perform in the original One Act “Tales of Terror” Jan. 24 in the Cassingham Theater. Written, performed and directed entirely by students, the One Act shared seven spooky stories acted out by campers sitting around a campfire. The show featured a small crew to help move the set, which consisted of furniture, props, sounds and lights. The show had a total of 14 cast members across all grade levels. Students in the first semester Creative Writing course wrote each of the seven stories of the One Act. One of those writers, sophomore Annmarie Carleton, both wrote and acted in the show. The performance was directed by senior Quinn Levin and junior Cyrus Turner, who worked to design the costumes and the set. Tickets were $1, but attendees were also encouraged to donate to the Bexley theater program.
