Springle Jangle
As I walked down the aisle at Trader Joe’s, I couldn’t help but spot this vibrant bag of Spring Jangle shining on the shelf. The packaging alone, a warm-toned yellow with little floral detailings, inspired me to instantly toss it into my cart.
The colorful appeal of this item didn’t stop at the packaging, however. When I discovered the array of sweet treats within the bag, I realized the pastel colors of many of the candies evoke the beauty of spring. The candies include items ranging from mini dark and milk chocolate peanut butter cups to colorful yogurt-covered pretzels. After indulging in a couple of pieces, I decided these treats could easily satisfy any sweet tooth—especially for chocolate lovers.
Because most treats in the bag were sweet, other flavors, like saltiness or savoriness, were less powerful. The imbalance between the flavor profiles led to an overpowering sweetness after consuming a few pieces. I especially didn’t enjoy the amount of dark chocolate candy pieces included in the bag. The subtly bitter chocolate was tasty in moderation, but after eating a couple pieces, I began to dislike the unique and strong taste of this chocolate.

Fresh Blooms Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream
There are two signs that instantly qualify a hand moisturizer to be of excellent quality: first, the moisturizer contains an appealing scent, and second, the lotion’s consistency feels hydrating. The Fresh Blooms Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream is a wonderfully fresh hand lotion that checks all these boxes and more. This lotion smells sugary sweet while also offering strong hints of florals, making for a perfectly fragrant blend for the spring.
In addition to the rejuvenating scent, the packaging adds to its springtime appeal. I especially appreciated the combination of bright pink and lighter blues, as well as the flower shapes all through the packaging. Similarly, I really enjoyed the style of the silver tube holding the moisturizer.
The only downside to this packaging is it is not totally convenient. Although the style of the tube is appealing, the actual function of twisting the cap off and on feels more inconvenient than using another type of applicator, such as a pump.
The consistency of this lotion does not disappoint, however. It is hydrating, and only using a small portion goes a long way to moisturize your hands. The packaging and fragrant scent of this product definitely makes it a worthwhile purchase for the spring season.

Lemon Flower Cookies
When I first saw this adorable box of Lemon Flower Cookies when I was walking down the aisles of Trader Joe’s, I immediately knew I had to add
them to my cart.
The charm of this seasonal treat is undeniable. These cookies completely embody the exciting and refreshing feeling spring brings not only visually, but also through the mouth-watering lemony flavor in each bite.
The floral cutout of the cookies particularly reminds me of dandelions, the ones that pop up sporadically through fields of flowing grass in the warm spring air. Dandelions hold asense of excitement within them—they embody spontaneity. I would have never thought cookies would ever remind me of the floral beauty of
Earth, but these lemon cookies did just this. The combination of the shape and lemon flavor of the cookies served as an exciting reminder of the spring season.
I also appreciated that the cookies were in sandwich form, containing a mouth-wateringly delicious lemon curd filling in between two soft and delicate lemon shortcake cookies. The lemony components added into the cookies complemented each other notably well, creating a very cohesive taste that simply melted in my mouth. These would make a perfect dessert for various springtime activities, like a picnic with friends on a sunny day
