Dyson Airwrap

The only item on my wishlist this holiday season is a $600 hair tool, which, to the uninformed ear, may sound absurd. However, to those unfamiliar with the Dyson Airwrap’s magic, the cost is a small price to pay in exchange for shiny, voluminous hair.
The Dyson dries, curls, shapes and smooths hair with its seven different attachments, all while monitoring its heat application to keep any hair damage at a minimum. I’m most intrigued by the Dyson’s most famous attachment: its barrels. These barrels emit gusts of air that automatically wrap your hair around them, curling the hair entirely with minimal effort.
What makes the Airwrap especially appealing to me is its lack of a worthy duplicate product; no other tool holds a torch to the versatility and technology the Dyson Airwrap provides. Come the holidays, I hope to be able to try it out for myself.
Fujifilm QuickSnap Flash 400

I often find myself mindlessly scrolling on my phone for hours on end, so I’ve decided to take the initiative to reduce my screen time. However, I love taking photos, so a camera is at the top of my holiday wish list this year.
The Fujifilm QuickSnap Flash 400 fulfills all my needs. One of the camera’s attractive abilities is its flash feature for taking photos in the dark. Also, pictures from this camera can be developed to produce a cool, vintage look, which I love.
Although it’s a single-use camera and can only take 27 photos, stores like Walmart and Amazon sell it for around $25, so it’s affordable to repurchase.
This camera doesn’t need to be connected to Wi-Fi, so it can be used anywhere.
I tend to overpack, and this camera won’t take up much room in my suitcase. I plan on bringing this camera to camp this upcoming summer because I’m not allowed to use my phone.
I’m excited to capture all of my future memories with the Fujifilm QuickSnap Flash 400.
“Open Wide” Vinyl Album

This year for the holidays, I want a little taste of the past. Sitting atop my wishlist is a vinyl record, etched with melodies and shining with musical authenticity.
The average cost of a vinyl is only between $20 to $30, so they are an easy and affordable gift for all music lovers.
Particularly, I want the vinyl for the album “Open Wide” by the band Inhaler. It has a dark blue background with a white and red flower, and I think it would fit perfectly in my room. On my family’s record player, I will be able to hear all the depths and nuances vinyl captures of the songs in their original form before they were warped and digitized.
Streaming music on my phone is fine; it gets the job done. Ultimately, what I really want this year is to hear my favorite songs the way the artist intended for them to be heard.

Weighted Stuffed Animal
To stay warm and cozy over the winter, a weighted stuffed animal is the item at the top of my wish list this holiday season.
There are countless different colors, shapes, sizes and animals on the market. My favorite is the $40 giant five-pound fluffy cow, which can be bought from Amazon.
The prices can range from about $20 to $50, so they’re not exactly cheap; however, I think it could be a worthwhile investment if you struggle falling asleep at night.
The best part about getting a bigger stuffed animal is you can lay under it,
basically using it as a blanket. Also, the gentle weight makes it harder to toss and turn in the middle of the night, which would ultimately improve the overall quality of sleep.
And, of course, now would be the perfect time to get one. After dealing with
the upcoming stress and overstimulation from the holidays and exams, I’ll need all the quality sleep I can get over break.
