Pumpkin Bagels
Every fall, I look forward to a breakfast of Pumpkin Bagels from Trader Joe’s. I love the subtle flavoring, the way they aren’t too sweet, and each bite has a soft texture. To prepare a bagel, I toast it for a couple of minutes, then spread some cream cheese on top, which enhances the pumpkin spice flavor.
Not only is the flavor delicious, but the packaging also excites me for the cooler months ahead because it truly embodies the many characteristics of fall. The choice of brown and orange coloring, the shape of a pumpkin on the label and the ribbon of multicolored leaves on the rim of the bag all contribute to the overall warm feeling of autumn.
Above all, I was glad to see how affordable these bagels are: only $2.99 per bag. Because of this reasonable pricing, I will certainly be buying another bag or two this autumn.
Pumpkin Spiced Pretzels

The Pumpkin Spiced Teeny Tiny Pretzels from Trader Joe’s are absolutely adorable. From their small size to their sugary taste, they are the perfect thing to satisfy any sweet tooth this fall.
These pretzels are bite-sized and rather crunchy, and each pretzel is covered in a yogurt coating garnished with pieces of spiced pumpkin seeds.
The only problem with this snack is they are overly sweet. I often found myself unable to eat more than a few at a time, as the sweetness from the yogurt coating overpowers the other components of the snack. This coating was more like a frosting, which I didn’t enjoy.
On the other hand, I did really appreciate the design of the packaging. The orange bag is eye-catching, and the dark orange leaves that are scattered around the bag are decorative. The fonts used on the bag are also quite creative, especially the mixing of block-like and cursive lettering. Even though this was an overly sweet snack, the design of the packaging was undoubtedly artistic.
Pumpkin Bread Mix

Nothing screams fall more than a slice of pumpkin bread on a cool autumn day. Making a loaf of pumpkin bread is incredibly easy with the Pumpkin Bread and Muffin Mix from Trader Joe’s.
The mix only requires three added ingredients which allows for a quick mixing process. Combining everything only took a small amount of time, and the loaf was in the oven in a matter of minutes. However, one issue I had was baking this loaf took about an hour, not counting the 15 minute cooling time. I found this inconvenient, especially because I was eager to try the bread.
After cooling the loaf, slicing it and placing a piece on a plate, I was ready to taste it. At the first bite, I instantly knew the hour-long wait was worth it. The bread was delicious. It had an incredibly smooth texture, and it burst with pumpkin spice. With each bite I took, I was reminded of the comfort that comes as the leaves begin to fall, the temperatures drop and the days become shorter.
