Juniors Prudence Kiener and Cyrus Turner perform a scene at the improv show “Love, Improv” in the Cassingham Theater Feb. 13 as senior Grace Armstrong and junior Jack Westergaard look on. The high school’s improv team, Whose Lion is it Anyway, planned this show to be Valentine’s Day-themed, for which the troupe dressed in red and pink and the activities were festively renamed.
In addition to audience interactions, improv members also invited spectators to write down phrases with six words or fewer to build sketches off of. The show was made up of 13 improvisers total, each participating in several improvisation games. The improv program is run by Bexley parent Dodie McDow, who leads the troupe’s Friday rehearsals.
